Giovanni Pagani

In P&M Real Estate SA, Giovanni brings its expertise in international finance & risk management and its extensive international network.

Background Experience

After earning a degree in nuclear physics (ETH Zürich) and a degree in political economy (HEC Lausanne) and receiving the faculty’s best student award each year, he began his career at UBS.

He worked in the Investment Bank M&A team and then joined UBS’s Risk Management team for the Bank’s direct investments. Giovanni then joined the Fixed Income team at UBS Asset Management as a quantitative analyst before being promoted to Managing Director in 2003 and headed up quantitative research on a global scale. He then developed innovative investment strategies, becoming a senior portfolio manager and then responsible for some areas of global investment.

Giovanni has also been a member of several key investment committees of UBS, a member of the Board of Directors of UBS Asset Management in Italy and represented UBS on several committees of other major banks.

He's now the Owner & Director of Pagani Group.
